More About the Course
Too many churches don’t have an intentional strategy with generosity. A lot of the time, churches are relying on hope that their congregations will be good stewards. But hope isn’t a great strategy. In this course, we’ll help you create a simple but solid financial plan that engages more people in generosity. It’s not about gimmicks or tactics, it’s about a holistic approach backed by a good strategy.
We’ll start by helping you create a funding plan – we call this The Second Budget. See, most churches have a budget that shows where they are going to spend money. But very few churches have a detailed plan on how they are going to receive money. We will help you create this plan and show you exactly what to put on it. For most churches, this one exercise changes their financial culture.
This course comes with three video modules, perfect to watch on your own, watch with your team, or share with other leaders in your church.
You’ll also get five bonus videos: How to Increase Giving Quick, Getting People to Give for the First Time, Telling Stories for Greater Impact, The New Rules of Church Fundraising, and What Pastors Need to Know About Money.
When you finish the course, you will have a plan in place talk about all aspects of generosity throughout the year. You’ll know exactly when to do what.
The lessons you learn and the work you do will have long-term ramification in helping create a church where the budget isn’t driving the vision but the other way around.
Each module is insanely practical, pointing to actionable resources and tools to help you implement what you learn.
Healthy Strategy Leads to Healthy Culture

More Generosity, More Ministry Opportunities
What would your church do with more resources or a healthier financial situation? It’s likely you have ministry dreams and want to make a bigger impact in your community. When more people give to the church, you can do more ministry.

Stewardship is a Part of Discipleship
Money isn’t just a financial issue, it’s a spiritual issue. Jesus said our hearts and finances were connected. So when you get intentional about your financial strategy, particularly when it comes to communications, you’ll actually help people follow Jesus.

More People Connected to the Life of the Church
When people give to your church, it’s a double blessing. Your church is able to use those resources to make a difference. And the individuals who give are also blessed. Generosity is good for everyone. And this kind of culture is attractive to people in your community.
What Other Pastors Are Saying
Dan Alexoff

Christopher George
Church Fuel is an integral part to my personal leadership development, giving me specific items to work through in our staff and church. Our staff team became aligned to the same goals and we worked intentionally through them strengthening our team, culture, and systems. Not only would I say we have a healthier church culture, but I have greater confidence in what I'm doing, and know specifically what to work on.
