- In the church, we often spend a lot of time, energy, and finances on the big events with complicated steps. But in reality, the simple things are what matters most in your church. We get addicted to big programs, but the everyday happenings in our churches actually impact more people.
- We call those regular, foundational ministries that tend to just happen “Keystone Ministries.” Most churches typically have a handful of Keystone Ministries that are “growth engines” — they drive the church forward. It’s important to identify these key ministries to deploy resources effectively.
- The key to growth might not be something you start, but something you stop. Find what’s working in your church and give it a greater prioritization and investment. Are you underinvesting in what’s driving growth while investing more in one-offs? Which ministries in your church need to be talked about more? Which need more resources?
