What if I don’t have a website?
You will need to have a website before applying for the Google Ad Grant. Google only allows you to run ads for your website (you can’t run Google Ads to Facebook, Youtube, or other platforms). If you have questions about how to get a website, reach out to success@churchfuel.com
Should I activate Google Workspace? Which button should I click?
In this Google Ad Grant process, you do not need to activate Google Workspace. Just scroll down to the Google Ad Grants section in google.com/nonprofits and click the Get Started button in that section.
Why did my website get denied?
If Google denies your website (responding with “Your Activation Request Needs Work”), check out this article to find out why it was denied. Once you make those changes, you can re-submit following these instructions.
What if I already have the Google Ad Grant but can’t access it?
If you log into your Google for Nonprofits account and there’s already a Customer ID listed in the Google Ad Grant section, check out this video.
How will I know when my Google Ad Grant is approved?
When Google approves your Ad Grant, they will send you 3 emails. These emails will give you full access to your Google Ad Grant account. Don’t ever enter credit card information into your new account.

Is Analytics installed correctly?
What if it’s installed, but I don’t have access?
If Google Analytics is installed on your website but you don’t have access to the account, reach out to the account owner and ask them to add you as an Administrator on the account. If you’re not sure who owns the account, we recommend just creating a new account and installing it on your website so you have full access.
Do I need to link Google Analytics to Google Ads?
Nope, the Church Fuel team will take care of this for you! All you need to do is add google@churchfuel.com as an Administrator on your Google Analytics account.
How can I upgrade to the latest version of Google Analytics? Do I need to upgrade?
If you have the old version of Google Analytics (a Google Analytics UA account) and/or Google is prompting you to upgrade your Analytics account, follow these instructions.
